  1. THIS VIDEO IS SOOOOOO NEEDED!!!! Thank you for sharing your wisdom!! Loving the idea that feeding people is a gift! What a great perspective!!

  2. Hosting is so stressful for me, but your pep talk totally put me at ease! You have such a gift ๐Ÿ’—

  3. This is a cool video. I really like how much you seem to give yourself grace in saying "I can’t/don’t want to do that part, I’ll get that store bought". I am well known for doing too much and stressing myself out and am working on taking shortcuts and not thinking less of myself bc of that. Most ppl honestly won’t even notice or care, and will appreciate all the effort you’ve already put in.

  4. What an interesting video!!! Youโ€™re killing it Erica with your content!!! I loooove to host!!!!!! Iโ€™m the host in my group of friends. Itโ€™s something I love to organize. And your menu ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป i News to try those Dishes. Iโ€™m certain your friends were so happy to be hosted by you! โค๏ธ

  5. Love this video! Post itโ€™s on serving dishes is a game changer, I always forget and have to re-assess what goes where! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Maybe a video that somewhat watches you/walks through the prep leading up to guest arrivalโ€ฆdo adding onto this video just more in depth/in action vs tips/tricks ???

  6. Lists and writing down step by step menus and when to make make everything less chaotic. Plus, that good old staple, time management. That one is a work in progress that not always is working.

You have the best laid back attitude and ideas.

  7. that’s so rude whoever disliked her text message about dietary things. the person probably thought they were being funny but what if someone actually did have dietary restrictions like being a vegetarian and then felt uncomfortable to say.

  8. ๐Ÿ‘‹ I have been really enjoying all of your videos! Iโ€™ll definitely have to give this a try. I love the presentation of your video. You make it look easy! ๐Ÿ‘I also make cooking videos for YouTube. I love to learn from talented creators like you!๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿ…๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿง…๐Ÿง„๐Ÿฅญ๐Ÿฅฎ๐Ÿง†๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿฅ™๐Ÿฅ—

  9. Loved this video! I love the idea of hosting friends for dinner instead of going out to a crowded restaurant. One thing that gives me confidence is to pick a main that Iโ€™ve made before. Trying out a new recipe for a dinner party makes me too nervous.

  10. Okay gang, how are we feeling? Does this make you want to get out there and host? Are there any burning questions I didn’t answer for ya? Lemme know!

  11. I cannot wait to have a space I can host in! My teeny, tiny Japanese studio apartment (under 200 square feet) is crowded when I have one person over ๐Ÿ˜‚. But one day I will live in a space where I can host.

  12. Love the host confidence you are giving us! Video request: I would LOVE to get a run through of your go to cook books for inspiration and ideas! I’m always in the market for new ones. Thanks!!

  13. I’d love to know the amounts of chili pepper and honey for the Labne dish you made ๐Ÿ™‚ Also – buttered rice? Do you just add like a tablespoon of butter to the rice in the rice cooker? I saw you rinsed the rice first. Did you soak it at all?
